I Love Social Media

The impact of social networking sites on the lives of people is just incredible. While the benefits of social networking mediums can’t be argued however it’s interesting to see how these platforms have transformed people’s life. Let’s take a look on what these social media platforms have turned people into:
Passion-followers: Surprisingly no one was living their “Passion” before the social media sites evolved. People were living too dreary lives working 8 hours and spending time with family and friends. Thanks to social media for making people realize to live their passionWhy should people work and live a happy life. Rather they should follow their passion (which is somehow imposed by the social media) even though they have no skills. You like to hear music so music is your passion and you must follow it, no matter if you have the talent or not. No one tells what exactly a passion is and how one should pursue a passion as a career. Being a foodie or clicking food pictures is not a passion, Please!. If you really want to develop a hobby then start cooking. Once you understand the ingredients, you’ll never complain about elaichi in biryani.
Collecting pictures of actors and models flaunting six-pack abs is not a passion. Rather start jogging or cycling. Listening to music is not a passion rather try to learn to play some instrument.
Travellers: A new generation of travellers has evolved with the rise of social networking. Every day at least one of your friend is on vacation to some exotic locationPeople are posting selfies on social media with exciting captions of their vacations. It’s a pity that people are more interested in finding free Wi-Fi spots rather thaactually visiting some interesting sites. Moreover travelling is not about just visiting the tourist-spots. There is no denying the fact that travelling can have a very meaningful impact on one’s life. Definitely one should visit the famous sites/places and historical monuments etchowever it’s also important to understand the history of the place you are visiting. Travel shouldn’t be restricted to clicking selfies with Eiffel Tower or London Bridge in the background. One should travel to learn about new places, know the culture and the people at large. It’s really interesting to meet and know new people. And next time you travel to a foreign country, try at least to learn how to greet people in their local language. A simple Bonjour or Hola might change your travel experience completely.
Wannabe Entrepreneurs :
I want to do something big, this 9-5 job is not meant for me.
That’s great, what do you want to do?
I don’t know, but something big, you know I want to make dent in the universe.
This breed of wannabe entrepreneurs is out there around every nook and cranny. Everywhere. Guys, first of all stop imagining yourself as someone, if you know what I mean. Secondly, we all see just one side of the coin like if they could do it, why cant we? Or he was a college drop-out. What you need to understand in first place is that he was a Harvard dropout not from a sadak-chap college. He was a born genius. He had those skills in his genes. And then no one tries to understand how much hard work he must have done. You should look at the compassion and his dedicated efforts behind.
I know there are lots of people out there who have managed to achieve big dreams. And I’m not discouraging anyone from not dreaming big. Off course dream BIGBut be ready with a plan. Be ready to do all the hard work with utmost sincerity and dedicationBe ready to embrace the challenges that will come through your journey to success. Be ready to face the worst nightmaresBe ready and start doing.
Philosophers : I love these people, really. These are one of the most amazing people you can find on social media. They take such pride in posting philosophical messages on social mediapretending themselves to be Thinker/ Motivational SpeakerCoach and what not. For God sake, pls stop copy paste. First experience the life, understand what low and difficulties really mean. Taste the failure once and then tell people about the failure. And by low I mean hitting the lowest low and then strike back.
The Bhakts
The Coca Cola company was started by a guy who used to sell Shikanji
Well I know, this isn’t exactly a fake news, it was just another intellect thought from the most prolific comedian of all times. There is a flood of fake news all around the internet and the Bhakts are blindly following it. Guys, please stop believing and spreading false & malicious news. Be little sensitive before blindly forwarding fake news post. Else, the consequences are quite formidable.
"If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it."
